Hey everyone!
I know the last post I wrote was ages ago, and I was prompted by my father to write a new one despite the overload of work that I have to do this week. It's my last month in Italy and I am realizing all the things I have not done yet and everything I will miss! The worst part is that I am the most busy I have been in Italy right now. I am working on my project for studio right now with my two wonderful partners- Christo and Beth. It actually seems like I am back at home working my butt off as usual- which is great for my portfoolio, but bad for my Italy experience. This week is downpour of rain, though, so it doesn't tempt me to steal away to the Boboli Gardens and soak in some rays. This weekend is our last trip as a class to Rome (for the second time?) but it's good because we will be doing the vatican and stuff that I have not seen yet, so another thing checked off my list. I'm not really a huge fan of Rome- too dirty, but I can't leave Italy without seeing the vatican. Maybe I will pick up some kitchy things with the pope's face on it. The thing I am looking forward to is the 13th, because that is the day of my final studio review which is 2 weeks before we get out of school! That means after that date- I won't have to worry about any more studio and stuff anymore and I can enjoy the city and focus on Italian. Right after my final, we are going to Cinque Terre! If you don't know what that looks like- go look it up. It is 5 cities right next to each other on the cliffside of northwest Italy. It's going to be beautiful and amazing- good beaches and good hiking!
Ok. I will try to write some more soon. I know it only takes just a bit of time to write these posts, but I seem to always put all my time into architecture... or sleep!
Until later-
